As a species, we probably all have a connection to the oceans since they are the beginning of life on Earth. Umbilicus leads us to the crowning point of the spiral in certain curved shell’s structure. It can carry us further, to the navel which takes us back to the umbilical cord and our birth.

En tant qu’espèce, nous avons probablement tous un lien avec les océans puisqu’ils marquent le début de la vie sur Terre. Umbilicus, nous conduit au point culminant de la spirale dans la structure incurvée de certains coquillages. Il peut nous transporter encore plus loin, jusqu’au aussi nombril, qui nous ramène au cordon ombilical et à notre naissance.
