Diane Roy: A Retrospective

Diane Roy, a well-known fiber artist born in Quebec, has worked in BC for over two decades. Her unique form of sculpture has been exhibited internationally in France, Spain, and Japan and now Port Coquitlam. This exhibit is a complete retrospective of her work made between 1980-2000.

Diane Roy’s art promotes thought about the consequences of our behaviour on the marine environment and the alarming impact it has around the world. Using a variety of materials such as synthetic recycled objects, Diane creates incredible fiber forms that evoke imagery of marine biospheres.
